I dunno if anyone can tell, but I'm in a stained glass mood today lol. So I thought I'd talk about presence AND show you my fave stained glass works.
First... I think being present is a thing that is incredibly difficult to do for anybody, regardless of who there are. I'm AuDHD, so I'm constantly in a pendulum, swinging from overstimulation to near-total emotional blankness almost all the time.
At least, that's my personal experience.
This means that a lot of the time I have, I spend in my head. Like... not fully awake and alive and here, because it's easier.
Buuuut... I think that the only way you could possibly find joy is with presence. Noticing the little funny things. Seeing something you like. Seeing a tiny, fluffy little bird. Eating your favourite candy. Finding a new song. You can't do that, and more importantly, ENJOY that, if you aren't fully here, can you? I don't think so.
Anyway, on to the stained glass.
Here are the breathtaking stained windows of Sainte Chapelle in Paris, the gorgeous art of Nasir al-Mulk mosque in Iran, and Marc Chagall's America Windows.
Au Revoir.✨️
