help I'm in awe 🥹 might be my fav eps so far. the cinematography are PEAK. the desperation in changyu eyes, the determination in yanzheng eyes, the worries in everyone eyes OH MY GOD. crazy how I can actually imagine all those flying debris, broken ampule, splurt of bloodd. and THAT FIGHTING SCENE? OH MY GOD MY FANCHANGYU. THAT DAMN ENEMY GENERAL IS FREAKING TWO TIME YOUR SIZE. CRAZY HOW YOU ARE FLYING HERE AND THERE. THAT LAST BLOW WAS EVERYTHING OH MY GODDDD.

when I reach 'the end' scene, I can hear a beeping sound. like when my imaginary world wore off and I was forced to be back into reality. that's how much I was absorbed into Hexu where my parent mingzai are. I ran thru my tiktok watch history (such dedication) to remember how am I moved to watch this masterpiece (notes how tiktok is the most influential force in my life rn). it was the 'my love for you isn't just a little bit' confession scene by mingyi (luyuxiao) 🥹. I go to the comment section and was told she repeat the sentence 3 times while emphasizing different meaning, it was so beautiful let me tell you. I was reminded of all too well by taylor swift and thought to myself 'what is this romcom I have yet to discover'. little did I know I learn another perspective on the art of life from them. then, thru out the first 20 episodes I was so looking forward to that scene while being a little skeptical about the story and how mingzai couple got the title of 'shameless parent' before 'how dare you' was out. I think the confession scene was around eps 22 (moment before disaster aka eps 24) and I am glad I decide to watch it ! I got a lot to yap so bear with me. two episodes in I was already in awe with haominghao playing jibozai. how could a full grown man look that cutesy and sexy? it was mostly his eyes that drew me even more into him. honorable mention for his voice too it was soo good I could hear him yap hours long. neo said he did all the dubbing of his character himself, thank god for his amazing voice (please rock me to sleep w that voice)...up to this point i don't pay much attention to luyuxiao, I don't like her visual cause she look so similar to kimhyeyoon. I was staying cause the story escalated sooo fast, it got interesting the longer I stay. I find myself often staying with fast paced cdrama as they have such many episodes per series. when I say 'fast' I was keeping track yea guys. jibozai fell in love around eps 4, mingyi got shaken around eps 5, they got married (fake-ly) on eps 10, got into some fight on eps 14 and the list goes on. the confession I was so looking forward to was around eps 22, they kinda divorce and got separated on eps 24, get tgtr again on eps 25 before the final arc and biggest plot twist of the drama went on for the last 10 eps. gotta need to rewatch to make sure I'm keeping the correct list hahaha. I love love love the fantasy settings. I get to see some Chinese ninjutsu, flying dragon, cute spirit animals, appearance change from neatherbeast and much more argh. love the strong asf fml x strong op ml plot too. when I thought no one could beat the op ml, there's the super strong fml that are born into greatness HAHA. that's what makes me like the fml, her character kinda grow so much in the later episode instead of just playing coy for the ml. she went from strategizing, forging and then fight in the battlefield herself ! butt I love the chemistry between the leads in the first quarter of the drama, they were flirting with each other trying to manipulate each other into getting what they want not knowing the audience were folding from their interaction 😭 I felt so single guys, where's my fake boyfriend saving me from this reality.. I also got so much to comment on other supporting character such as how obvious the villain names are (si tuling, mu cibai etc 😭) but god knows how long this post are going to be huhu. wrapping up, the element of the drama itself is so good, the ending, the plot, the ost, the cinematography, the character, the dubbing, the comedy and romance essence were all top tier. this would be the first cdrama I was so satisfied with the plot, storytelling and ending. I am now closely following neo trying to watch his other drama (he's so cute someone save me I'm afraid I'll fall so hard 😭). felt like noting down that txt finally made a concert in malaysia after 7 years of their debut. y'all need to see how happy terry and other txt member were when they first arrive at klia, welcomed by mymoa. walaowei season one ended on a roller coaster, my heart rate was literally going up hysterically when they decide to go on hiatus ugh 😭 first of all the art is gewdd. I know they say don't judge a book by its cover (or art), but webtoon with amazing art rarely disappoint as far as I've read (quite few but mostly gewd). next, the plot revolve around two couples who broke up around the same time, having different view on love and affection. it was such an eye opener for me, I can actually comprehend such complex emotion at that, props to the author and artist. psychologically, there's a lot going on. the webtoon follows the perspectives of 4 different people of love in live. yumin's the steady and burning love, the kind where we get butterfly here and there even in a 6 years long relationship. heondo's the devoted committed love, truly selfless and dangerous as it put too much on himself and can sometime be seen as the only contributer in relationship. seongyon's the possessive and reversed psychological love, the type to manipulate their partner into the ideal counterpart, always want to lead the relationship. the most interesting love perspective among the 4 main character would be iseon's. I seldom read plots about psychological illness on love where he is unable to feel burning love for other human being. the webtoon show his love for yumin is purely based on his gratefulness to her for being there when he is on his lowest. he date her in the hope to return yumin's dedication to him, long story short he got a sense of security by yumin's steady love. which he comprehend comfort to be the same as love. it's complicated and I don't even sure I can describe the feelings clearly here. can't wait for season 2 in March, love the story so far #cutedooh #goodboybringsyoutoheaven #badboybringsheaventoyou #chaoticboyfriendchaoticgirlfriend

high key the best historical dracin I've ever watched (not like I've watch that many historical drama hahah). so let's talk about it. plot? absolutely delivered. peak yearning, peak romance, peak villain mode, peak strong fml ALL IN ONE SITTING GOSH. this drama is literally the definition of romcom. the romances and comedies is so well balance I couldn't ask for more. I love how they break walls between modern and historical time in the drama. it felt like I was being included when all those modern jokes were said HAHA. the drama was very entertaining for me because I have never seen any drama that cross dimension like that yet (ps they even make guns to fight rebellion pls I'm wheezing when the army literally tossed their blades and use guns 🤣) lemme say first and foremost, I love wangchuran. how come I've only met her here? not to be dramatic but I would kill for that look. she have such a radiant energy both in and out of character, I would love to watch her other drama. I love her 'i don't give a fuck I'm a modern women who got transmigrated' attitude in the drama HAHA. she was so charming that I think she would not need to stretch her armways to recruit me if I am one of the characters. honorary mention for her nails, I was always distracted when her nails got on screen 😭. chenglei? his first drama that I watch was the legend of the female general. I quit half way because I don't really like the fml acting and the plot kinda slow I donno. but here? I love his micro expression !! the sudden tweak in his personality between xiahaodan (puppet emperor) and zhangsan (his real name and personality) gave me goosebumps. his acting as a tyrant emperor was so gewd I wish he would put me on a leash (jk or maybe not?). the chemistry between character? bombastic. someone said, you know the actors ate when you can't imagine them in any other setting/drama playing other characters. and I am not just talking about the chemistry between the ml and fml, all other characters from the ministers, eunuchs, physicians, servants, secret guards, women in the harem etc, they all did such a great job playing their role, truly phenomenal. the pacing was good for my slow ass processor because every episode is enjoyable and absolutely hilarious while actually comprehendable, I look like a madman when I laugh out loud by myself. the only thing I would complain is how much the important characters or the character that contribute to the plot needlessly have their life taken...... like yong'er death is absolutely unnecessary wooooi. I swear she could have had a happy ending on her own. why do dracin always need to kill such loveable character 😥😥 ost cinematography? cooool. honorary mention to the cinematographic team, it feels like I'm living in the wuxia era. everything looks so beautiful it was almost a shame everything is build for a fiction. fun fact, the unsatisfactory happy ending of the drama is actually not the real ending to the story. truth is, after wanyin join the court as partner to the emperor, they live happily for quite more years and even have a prince as their successor. unfortunately, the already sick haodan die first of middle age and wanyin rule the empire as the first empress. she then die of old age and got return to her modern world just before she enter the novel. they say, when haodan die, he also got return to the time just before he got transmigrated which is when he is in middle school. so he then grow up in the hope to meet wanyin in the future. to his worries, the novel they transmigrated might not be popular anymore in the future. so he actually become a CEO and make the novel popular again so that wanyin company would ask her read it, then that's how the transmigration would happen. hence I'll wrap up my yapping of the my first wuxia dracin in 2026 (possibly my best wuxia dracin yet). in honor of the haodanXwanyin @ CEOdanXyinjie @ zhangsanXhuahua couple, here's my fav couple pic of them 😍
