the mum and daughter pissed me off big time. I’m sorry but if there was a war going on and I had a semi safe place to go I would go there instead of waiting to be blown up, never mind the evil ghosts that is obviously haunting their daughter.

rewatch — this is one of my favourite romances and my favourite of all Bridgerton seasons.

I love the concept of this show and it has me on edge constantly. written well, got good animation and sound. finished the anime… my mind is blown.

I’ve been rewatching the previous Bridgerton seasons. they are soooo good!!

**SPOILERS AHEAD** read at own risk. there are a lot of takes I see for Eloise (mostly negative ones) that I downright hate. they’re essentially trying to hold a teenager to the standards of today in her want for freedom not to mention everyone hates how she’s so dismissive and bitter about everyone else’s interests (stereotypical feminity) whilst completely ignoring the fact that everyone has ALWAYS not only ignored and dismissed her but FORCED her to take part in society in a way she does not WANT to. amidst all of this, we are also expecting that she be kind and palatable? and that to the very people who she feels is upholding the system? it’s true that all she’s done is complain, and is unaware of her own privilege to a certain degree, but such is true for every single other member of this society yet that criticism is only brought up in reference to a girl who has higher dreams than her position allows and doesn’t know the means to achieve them. her lack of knowledge along with no one actually taking the time to educate her about perfect feminism, doesn’t make her a “bad feminist’, exactly where and how would she get the perfect education? we have women today who are worse feminists than Eloise with all reasourced at their fingertips 💀. people are just mad it upset Hyacinth, and sure I don’t think hyacinth deserved to be treated that way since it’s not HER who was dismissive, but ultimately Hyacinth is a reminder of everything they expect Eloise to turn into (and if we recall, Eloise was WORSE to Daphne in season 1). people calling her a pick me also conveniently forget that when forced to dance with a suitor who said she was not like other girls she stood up for the women and said it’s all they were taught, now she’s also expected to be nice and like the convo of all those girls when NO-ONE validates her, even if they listen for a bit they move on and she’s left all alone. the ONLY exception to the rule is Cressida Cowper, and I believe they should’ve had Daphne help her (remember the favour thing in Season 1??) since as sneer-y as she is, no woman deserves that fate. I CAN understand she is by no means perfect, but literally no other character is, but the perpetuators of the system are not nearly as villainised as she is. can you imagine not wanting to be married and then being forced to perform what is essentially a humiation ritual so that a man might notice you like an exotic bird, to go from one cage from another. whether a cage is made from iron or gold, it is STILL a cage.

02/02/2026 - ep 1 started… let’s see.

02/02/2026 - starting watching show bc the last movie I watched was so serious and dang, the start is kinda sad tho 😭 tho I have to pause before continuing.

serious spoilers ahead! read at your own risk and sorry for the lack of punctuation 😭 this was a bit of a serious movie following the romances I’ve been watching but I quite liked the change in pace it’s a movie showcasing the damages of a radical ideology it also shows the importance of educating yourself/becoming politically literate because people who perpetuate radical ideologies aren’t going to say it to your face, they WILL lie to you, and ultimately it’s up to us to see the signs before it’s too late. things I liked: - the theme - the acting, the characters were very convincing in their roles and there was a sense of dread throughout - the ending — no magical resolution, the family does separate - I liked that the showed the consequences of censorship with the sister Anna who was attacked and forced into hiding. things I disliked: - the pacing of the movie, it felt very cluttered - they also didnt give an inside look into the actual politics the “change” was planning for (although we caught glimpses, such as the drone monitored curfew, the census, 20 years for protesting?!?!!) we don’t have much other idea. all we know it’s a very authoritarian regime (tho I beleive that can also work in the favour, any authoritarianism being considered bad etc)

I can understand why people like long hair, and I had my time too when I decided I wouldn’t get a haircut… fast forward 3 years and I wanna get the shortest haircut I know will look good. I’m so sick and tired of trying to take care of this 😭😭😭 it’s really funny tho, both my and my husbands family went kinda crazy the last time I cut my hair (they are religious) so I imagine having another noticeable cut won’t sit well with them 😂

watching episode 1 today :) super excited!! I have been counting down the days!!!! *watched all 4 eps now* WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK. Okayy so I honestly can’t say what season is my favourite, but I have loved this season so far. The ending leaves a lot to be desired though and I KNOW it makes sense for the time but SERIOUSLY?!?! “be my mistress” ARE YOU INSANE?!?! I mean, I was expecting this, they hinted at this a lot and it made sense for his time. I just hope he repents dearly!

so we loved most of the show but the ending had me disappointed, wdym the evil guy won?? also my poor girl Adele was gone all along. surprisingly my husband called this plot twist long before we even know the whole ‘souls swapping’ thing was even a possibility in this universe!! I mean I loved the concept I just felt that rob shouldn’t have won.

because Wdym I have to not only do what my business says but I also have to do all my admin, all my social media, all of my invoicing and accounting and literally everything. overworked as hell 😭😭😭 I make good art that’s ittttt photo is a little peek into a design I’m working on for my portfolio hehe AND WDYM I NEED A PORTFOLIO DOES MY FACE NOT TELL YOU I’M HONEST ENOUGH?!?!?!

probs one of my fav meals to make. super simple and always delicious no matter what direction I go with the flavouring. plus a perfect way to get my veggies in AND enjoy them.

super interesting show and LOVED the plot twist at the end. deffo a good watch for those that enjoy a good mystery

watched ep 1 ♡︎ super cute and cosy show. loved it. defo will watch as each ep comes out (watching on Netflix and waiting for next ep 👀)
