Clearly Calvin wants to watch movies with Leo in it. Calvin also watched the trailer thinking it would be pretty cool then we both experienced the whiplash of intense sexual themes in the first 5 mins. We genuinely thought the whole film was going to be like that. The rating would be much higher if the beginning wasn't so bad. Calvin and I almost stopped the movie because the beginning was so hard to get through in terms of disjointed characters and plot. No one was likeable and everything was hard to follow through. hard to know what was important and what wasn't Its a solid cat and mouse chase kind of movie. a lot of people are putting a lot of focus on the politics of it but I feel the politics were not that big of a focus. I think people are getting confused between themes and plot. I think the poor dialogue at the beginning misdirected the intention of the movies focus. The movie had a some strong points but also a lot of weak points Strong points: - Character motives! everything was justifiable - Building suspension with extra cuts and shots - Strong side characters that are likable. you really root for them too and build trust with them along with the main characters - Ending was satisfying and emotional, just what it needed - Leo. He's always good with a phone in hand. That whole scene with Commander Josh was such a good break from all the tension and was a solid laugh - I liked how the environment and props wasn't an antagonistic force and wasn't used for plot blocks. Film was purely moved by character and solid plot which was so refreshing especially the film mainly being shot in desert. Weak points: - Weird soundtrack. Some scenes it did work but other scenes it overstayed its welcome - The beginning! Perfidia was so polarising and it made no sense of what she did other than to be polarising. wish they took more time to set up her relationship with Bob to give him more incentive to take care of Wila other than him being the more responsible out of the two. I feel like making Perfidia unlikable affected Bob because I found it hard to care for him at times at the beginning. - Acting was really strange for Lockjaw. nothing about him looked right and not in a character sense, but in the sense of him not knowing how to react to some dialogue in the scene. could also have been an editing problem Overall, film was digestible but there are better films to watch for your evening. I guess its only good if you like a thriller genre and if you like Leo

This video was listed in the comedy section of Netflix...this was not a comedy. Genre is more of a crime drama. I had high expectations for the film considering it was directed by Steven Spielberg and that Dana said that the opening credits was studied in film but I feel that the entire film lacked so much of what could have been an entertaining watch. the plot wasn't necessarily hard to follow but the script made it hard to understand what was a priority for the character or plot. I feel like they could have cut a lot of scenes considering the length of the movie I also never understood Franks relationship with his dad. Moments you can tell he loved him more than his mum but other times pretended that he didn't. I struggled to understand how fixing his family by being a con man was the main objective Scenes that I would have loved to see: - a more in depth process on how the checks were being foraged - more about Franks romantic interest. when he got engaged I didnt know if he actually liked the girl or not - showed more of Franks personality and more scenes that he doesn't understand consequences of his actions or his lack of grounding to assimilate into the real world - made certain scenes with the FBI more intense, I felt like the movie had no stakes even when he did get caught in the end Only good takeaways was everyone's acting was good and the set dressing was pretty decent. some cinematography choices were questionable like breaking the 180 rule or certain close ups should have been done for different shots. Music was good, I noticed some clarinet here and there. Overall, okay but not worth the time but its a good film for those who love actors and their performances

The synths at the beginning are good but I do miss the iconic Josh Balz synth. If only he made a cute Lil feature. Strong scream and power from Chris and Vinny giving it their all! Love Justin's Cameo! he needs to sing more! Breakdown was not I was expecting but its growing on me heaps! its very Hardcore instead of metalcore but I let it slide. Favourite part was the bridge, Chris' vocal delivery on gut wrenching lyrics makes me seriously tear up. Ending was powerful! Definitely a song for repeat. I know it will be in top five for spotify wrapped at the end of this year. MUSIC VIDEO: Loved the makeup! fresh and different but still a lot of style. love the use of contacts Clean uniform with strong silhouettes. I LOVED THE ARM BANDS ARE MAKING A COMEBACK! Big fan of them during Reincarnate Era. Background is very CGI, hoping they change it up next time. would love to see more iconography from Pennsylvania Everyone looked hot 10/10
