nostalgia, grief, love, trauma, hope... everything blended in together so beautifully. all the characters are really well-written. and I was absolutely not expecting that plot twist... I didn't know much abt Syria, exc for the civil war. now I'm a little bit more educated, and I really hope all their sacrifices will be worth it... > will def buy the physical book > reread worthy This one took me awhile to finish, but I wouldn't mind if it went on for a bit longer :)

my plan was to make smth when I get home. but my cool ass trainer decided to take our assessment today, and I got stuck 👌 instead I bought a vanilla cake (her fav) on my way home. and when I gave it to her, she looked so happy!! hours later, I went to her room, and it's still there. I told her to eat it quickly. but she says she doesn't want it to end, so she's saving it 😭😭 I looove this lady sm happy mother's day to all the great moms ♡
