From the director of the famous film 'Train to Busan,' this zombie horror, sci-fi, and action-thriller brings its own charm and a totally fresh concept. Imagine if the zombies we usually see in movies don't just mindlessly attack, but can actually evolve rapidly and communicate with each other? 😮
This new masterpiece is shaking up the world of zombie horror cinema and demanding serious attention. The story kicks off at an elite biotechnology conference inside a highly advanced, isolated underground research facility. It is there that a brilliant scientist (Jun Jihyun) witnesses a biological sabotage attack that unleashes an experimental mutant virus created by a mad researcher (Koo Kyohwan). Within minutes, the facility is locked down by outside military authorities to prevent a global outbreak, trapping hundreds of attendees inside. Amidst the mass panic, the real terror begins when the infected do not just die, but rise again as a unified colony ready to hunt down the remaining survivors.
To be honest, this was the very first movie Iiwatched all by myself (since my friends don't like horror), and i think it's incredibly good and fully deserves the hype it's been getting⭐ The zombie visual effects and the tense atmosphere completely filled the theater, and the new concept itself is brilliant. However, it seems i set my expectations a little too high for this particular zombie film, making some parts of the movie feel somewhat underdeveloped.
