↻ ◁ ▸ ▷ ↺ time to write about this beautiful movie. This movie gives off a horror vibe to it, even though it’s not supposed to. I have a few characters I like and some that stood out to me. Firstly, Kiyo (the grams) she was adorable, spacing out, I could just resonate to how peaceful she is. I love the concept of recreating memories: stories of the “dead” what they remember and what age, i could never be the one remembering but it’s a refreshing topic when it comes to movie genres. The second character, Shiori! God I love the way she stands up for herself, her backstory and her hair —ghhh (so many others but these are both that stood out to me). They had to add 2nd grams teaching the little girl how to dance the red song?? so sad. the ending was so freaking sad, to be honest I didn’t understand the main character’s plot he mentions, “I’m going back” which I didn’t get it in a full picture. I understand this has something to do with his memory but I don’t get where this came from (why?), that was the confusing part.
