"humans can live without faith. humans can live without hope. but humans cannot live without love." choosing a different path doesn't mean you're walking away from God. sometimes, it's the path that leads you closer to the love He created for you. you don't have to choose between loving God and loving yourself or others. love was never meant to divide us—it was meant to bring us closer to Him. "but the greatest of these is love." not because faith and hope are unimportant, but because love is the foundation of both. It is through love that we learn forgiveness, find healing, and discover God in the most unexpected places. loving yourself isn't selfish. loving someone with same gender isn't a betrayal of your faith. real love, the kind that asks us to understand, sacrifice, and care, has always been one of the clearest ways we experience God's presence. thank you, BarthTanrak, for reminding us that heaven isn't only a destination we're waiting for—sometimes, it's found in the way we choose to love while we're still here. and maybe that's what God wanted us to understand all along: we don't have to choose between Him and love, because wherever genuine love exists, His presence is already there.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13
