buddy reading this with my bookish cousin over the month of august cuz we want to shit on it (*´ω｀*) read the first few chapters at the gym today ( which i spent an hour working out at btw. tell me im cool pls. ) & it’s …. alright. it hasn’t gone to shit yet, but it’s also not very interesting. u literally couldn’t pay me to care. it sounds exactly like every other fuckass romantasy book to me .. the fmc is just another bADAsS gIrL who’s SoOOoO different & cool & strong but gets bullied by her two meanie sisters & has to keep a stone-cold attitude & doesn’t dare to dream or hope .. ! CAN WE STOP WITH THIS TROPE IN EVERY SINGLE FANTASY BOOK ??!! OR AT LEAST WRITE IT WELL !!! … ykw … at least there hasn’t been any mentions of her being exceptionally hot & beautiful despite all this yet ( which im sure will happen in the future ). ok i keep talking smack but i don’t hate feyre that much. for now. im not mad … im just disappointed !! still tho, i like the way sarah writes sometimes. i’ve found some pretty sentences. props to her for that ig. … godddduhh i don’t want to keep reading another page but becuz i want to be a professional hater i will continue …
