I LOVE WHEN I GET WHAT I WANT. yall dk how much i smiled when he was crashing tf out at ten and when i saw that fuckass oncoming traffic and william's annoyed face. the sequence leading up to the bridge scene fucking kills me because like... wow. tbh it could have been so much better with a little more time and urgency. maybe it could have happened closer to moth's actual departure for nyc but the dialogue was SO GOOOOOODDD and the kiss (ONE OF MY FAVS ONE OF MY FAVSSS) FUCK U WILLIAMEST I HOPE U KISS ALL THE TIME and the confession.......... william kneeling in front of est..... oh I thought i'd only get to see this in december xDDDDD just noticed thooo that there are continuity errors in the editing and i feel like they cut a lot out of that kissing scene in moth's condo. i couldn't help noticing it esp when williamest themselves have brought up how much longer they actually kiss compared to what ends up on screen. but that's just me. i just wished parbdee paid apt attention with their post production because this has probably been my biggest issue with the show overall. a lot of the awkward pacing was mainly due to the sequencing and editing. there are moments when the cuts feel abrupt or repetitive and it can pull you out of a scene that should otherwise be emotionally immersive. some of the camera angles are also baffling. like the close-up shots (which thank god they only used twice) felt so awkwardly framed and the shots during the kissing scenes sometimes make it seem like the camera man is afraid of getting too close to the actors. the blocking is just honestly so..... awkward sometimes. and while we're at it, i really need gmmtv to stop letting their sound editors slap those heavy synth beats over every nc scene. please. let your actors moan and pant and whatever. my favorite thing about this show is without a doubt the acting and the characters. williamest really embodied deanmoth so well and i'm glad they got a script with characters this difficult to read and interpret. these two are not the easiest characters to portray i know. williamest have to communicate so much through their expressions and they did a fantastic job at it. my actors goddamn... kudos to the screenwriters too because they managed to give deanmoth a surprising amount of depth. i do think their character development and the introduction of certain backstories could have been placed better into the story but the characters themselves are so much more layered. they're both deeply troubled individuals and watching them slowly figure out how to be honest with themselves and with each other has been such an experience. the number of times i tried to figure out what the fuck is going on in their heads and still can't completely get a read on either of them happens like every episode and i love that. so i guess that's it.... my cocomelon... ending on a random saturday night.... what a fucking ride. i hope williamest's next series has est crying more and william raging more :DDDD
