I'm not really used to seeing Nami & Robin in this kind of girly animation style yet, but I totally get why they went with it. It goes back to the whole "heroines" theme and the story is very girl-centric (with fashion, jewellery, girl-power, feminism, etc. etc.), not like a typical 'One Piece' spinoff tbh lol. It was fun though, just kinda unexpected.
