the fuckass cameos T____T ouh this comedy excellence i couldn't breathe at sea and junior putangina LAKKSLAKAKA i was cackling so hard that was so fucking stupid AND GASP!!!!! thank p'x for dragging taynew along... i See the Light... let's give them an even stupider romcom !! every day i'm proven more and more that taynew were put on this earth to do comedy what can i saaaay uh ok i admit i was irked by a few things in this show esp the way romemhok was handled in the second ep but the cameos alone were so good i can't even form a proper review anymore. i'm just a girl. if it's stupid enough i'll probably love it this has nothing to do with the writing itself bcs i know it ultimately comes down to runtime and the fact that they're side characters but i really wish romemhok had gotten more scenes to flesh out their relationship :'( i'm absolutely speaking out of bias here but i do think if the script had relied a little less on expository dialogue and flashbacks they could've squeezed in more details about the mafia instead. i was fully expecting to see rome's succession ceremony as the new head or at least watch him propose to mhok i wanted to see williamest characters engaged i'm so sad i've alr accepted we're probably never getting a cdmr adaptation so i'm not even letting myself hope anymore lmao i just wanted a little more of novel romemhok and i really wanted to see rome settle into his role as the mafia leader i think that's really my biggest takeaway this is still a really good romcom tho obv not stronger than mat cos mat is on a whole different level but this is also very clearly a spin-off and i still think they delivered. i know people had complaints (i was lurking on twt) but that's outside the scope of what i'm talking about so i'll keep my mouth shut on that my only real observation here is that the cast felt a little too crammed i think four couples in a four-episode show is an incredibly difficult balancing act if you're trying to keep the main couple as the focus. nevertheless i had such a good time i had a laugh and i'm easily entertained and if it made me giggle and kick my feet then that's sufficient evidence for me to call it good :DD
