[a throwback review] started this just as an experiment because i really enjoy korean historical (fantasy) dramas, but i honestly didn’t expect this show to completely steal my attention. jung so-min was so good as mudeok. i had so much fun watching this while it was airing, especially seeing my whole timeline filled with theories about her character. and i definitely prefer the chemistry between the leads here over part 2. mudeok and jang uk just hit different.
