On paper, I like the reveals and twists - even exactly where they are in the story. But the characterization of Anna and the lack of depth from everyone except Eric/Jesse makes this stale. Maybe it needed more time to explore more of everyone's interiority, personality and psychology. But what we got was just the actors doing their best with something that feels more like a draft.
