i am BEYOND impressed with adéla and her debut album, prima!!! i can hear the blend of her musical inspirations throughout the years, alongside her own bold style. while the album is cohesive in that early 2000’s soundscape, it isn’t afraid to explore. i love a good mix of dance music and sad songs, which is just what i got from this album!! my top 5 after initial listen are ain’t in la, marijuana, hitachi, boys, and red bottoms. i love every single song however, the five stars aren’t glaze. i’m seriously so proud of how much she’s grown even in just a couple years. she was my number one pick on dream academy. i knew she had something special, before the music, even before the pink hair! she had a hunger, confidence, genuine love for what she was doing, and that couldn’t be taken away from her. she is a true artist. she has come so far and i really really can’t wait to see where she goes next. i could ramble on about how much i adore her, but i’m too eager to listen to the album again!!! 💗💖
