I solid continuation to the first volume! While I find myself getting frustrated with miscommunication, hiding feelings, and unshared expectations - I did enjoy seeing how our main characters continue to deal with these issues, especially because it is the main source of their conflicts. It makes their dynamic seem much more realistic as two people coming together. The fact that they are now a couple and that feelings have been confessed does not erase existing friction. I like that we see them work through things and pivot when a certain approach isn’t providing the desired results. I really enjoyed the side characters both new and old wish we could have seen more of them. There is a slight suggestion of another couple forming and I hope the mangaka gets to explore them, either in the next volume or in a story all to themselves.
