such a light & beautiful slice-of-life series! 🌸 the first time i saw rintaro, i thought he was ishida shoya from "a silent voice". but now, i realised that both of them indeed have some similar traits: tall and scary, but actually a softie deep inside :> although the storyline is very light, i never really get bored. not only because the art is so pleasing, but also because the chemistry between the characters makes it even more fun to watch >____< i love watching kaoruko & rintaro subtle moments, but her and usami's mother-son relationship could never make me stop hoping that their friendship would last forever (yes, i know they're fiction. yes, i still write that 🤷🏻‍♀️) and more importantly..... natsubaru, our slow burn couple :/ idk how much longer i have to wait until they finally confess their feelings to each other, but i'll keep waiting like i always do, dear mr. natsusawa and ms. hoshina, so take your time! overall, i like the way the story focuses more on the dynamics between kikyo & chidori (so far). it's the typical smart girl x delinquent boy trope, but the scale is different since the teachers at kikyo actually hates chidori to the extreme level due to their past 😿 as the manga reader, seeing them preparing for their future is heartwarming. almost all of them faced different problems, but eventually finds a way because they believe in themselves and each other. the conflicts mostly revolve around the internal war within each character, but i think it is also safe to say that kaoruko & rintaro will never get into a big conflict because they're already really mature for highschoolers #proud can't wait to watch the next (i think the third...?) season in 2027! please, i miss my natsubaru 🌰
