I have always hated math. To me, ang hirap intindihin. I dread the sight of trigonometry and the tedious chore to solve for angle measurements. Then I look at geometry. For goodness' sake, I cannot comprehend conic sections. Algebra too—an endless search for the variable x and y when they hold no significance in my world. Even the most basic building blocks of mathematics—whole numbers, decimals, fractions—are just a burden to my whole intellectual being. But worst of all are word problems. It's as if reading a language that refuses to speak back to me. The entire subject is just too complex—always demanding to break down overwhelming equations into simpler terms just to force out a solution. I cannot understand the whole context, and I have never wanted to. But if you were an equation, I would change my mind. If you were a problem in a page, maybe I'd sit for hours to understand you. I'd watch tutorials and go through the solution step-by-step. Organic Chemistry Tutor? Professor Dave Explains? Yes, all that—just so I can fully comprehend your complexity and patiently break down the bigger pieces of your being into simpler terms. That way, I'd learn how to love you more. I would sit in the midst of the confusion, unlearn all of my fears of making mistakes, just for the chance to make sense of you. Kaya... pwede ka bang maging equation ko? 10.27.26 - ms. kae
