this movie will change you.

i read the book first, not realizing that it was a novelisation of the movie. i enjoyed both the book and the movie! most of the scenes in the movie remained the same in the book except a few. i wish they had put the scene of Todd reciting his poem in the movie 😔😔😔 i loved all the members of the dead poets society (yes, even Knox and Cameron). Todd, Neil and Charlie really stood out to me throughout the movie. especially Todd because i see myself in him

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
