today was un vrai bon day ! i finally met up with my friends cause they hadn't seen me a lot of time, since i was at the monastery doing my obedience. we walked around the malls and speaking russian. we went into an asian grocery store, and i bought myself some tea and some gum with really pretty wrappers !! at the bookstore, my fiancé bought me a wonderful book by george orwell, the one i'd been wanting to re-read in russian for so long. i'm starting tonight, for real !! he also gave me these beautiful earrings he brought back from his work trip, and this really cute knitted keychain that smells like a campfire and wood. honnêtement, i loved this day so much.
