the gloomy yet dreamy ambience makes up for the plot holes, i guess. i don't like that it introduces an exploration on reason versus superstition then leaves it with an underwhelming revelation. i also wish it was more of a show not tell, especially since the dialogue is hard fo follow; i had to rewind multiple times just to catch up. but hey, i always love a good gothic story!
