Don’t tell me this isn't a BL because it has way too many BL-coded moments‼️ (yes, I’m aware of the age gap, and it’s probably still classified as a bromance, but just watch it, the chemistry is definitely there, especially with that ending that I won't spoil). As for the movie itself, the premise is fresh & hilarious. Pairing a junior high school student with a yakuza creates such an unexpected dynamic, and watching their relationship develop is genuinely entertaining. The comedy is surprisingly fresh too, it doesn't show up constantly, but when it does, it lands. Overall, it's a light and easy slice-of-life Japanese film that may not leave a huge lasting impression, but it's definitely a fun watch and worth your time.
