FAHHHHHHH ITS SO GOOD. i haven’t cried this much in a while. genuinely cried for like an hour in bed once i finished the movie. the way that i got all attached to setsuko and seita is insane just to have them both gone makes me so sad. the way setsuko passed away was a real tear jerker tho. still emotional js thinking about it 😭💔 and my mom clipped me mid breakdown bro. the way the animators rub it in more by showing little flashbacks of her playing around their little house while seita was out THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WAS DOING 😪😪. AND the fact that it was semi true GOD ITS SO SAD. the amount of symbolizim in the movie was so awesome too. if u haven’t watched this and haven’t cried in a long time PLS WATCH PLS. 1000/10 making my brother watch it next since he’s more emotional than me 😭
