you’re a spark in the dark (and my clothes all caught aflame) i thikk this song perfectly encapsulates the feeling that comes within falling in love and also, in retrospect, break up. the first part of the chorus says it all — to fall in love is often associated with finding your spark. having a spark. finding the one would be like having a spark (their presence) in the dark (what her life once used to be). but then the spark is not something that can just be admired anymore for it engulfs her; consumes her whole, without intending.
