YES, this is frieren: beyond journey's end. when the usual story starts long before the characters face the final boss, frieren starts after 🐾 in line with the impressively beautiful art style, the pace is also slow somehow throughout the episodes. but it happens for a reason as the writer wants us to experience their moment through frieren's sense of time. at first, it skips through decades, but now, even a week seems quite long to pass. the story lets us to see how time works for an elf and how it affects her perception of human life some people said that it is boring, especially due to the slow-paced storytelling. but actually, that's the unique aspect of frieren that makes it my personal comfort anime <3! i love to see how each character named after one single word that describes them, for example stark for strong or himmel for sky. but throughout the story, we can still see stark being scared when facing the monsters which might contradict with his name, but shows that warrior is still a human anyway 🧍‍♂️ i honestly don't really remember how good the songs are, but frieren does have some cool soundtracks for the battles like zoltraak. and the character design... God, i love all of them. fern's lil bangs and the way she pouts, stark's scar, himmel's attire, and frieren's hair, everything match their characters a lot that it looks really good on them it's obviously a masterpiece ⭐
