hellooo it's been like almost a week since i posted anything on repov lmao. i'm going to catch up. so i had this usual nasi bakar mom bought me for breakfast last tuesday and i really really loved it. sadly i found a strand of hair on it which kind of ruined my appetite 😔 anyway for my non-indo and maybe non-sea friends: what i have here is basically a grilled rice (yeah grilled rice!!) topped with anchovies, sambal tomat, and basil, wrapped in banana leaves. the burnt banana leaves give it a distinct aroma and taste.
