Wonderful movie and a exciting begining for the new X-Men line. I found the story arc of acceptance to be a beautiful one for Peter, with him not only accepting that he's more than just spiderman or peter parker, but also his development in his powers. Punisher adds as a nice side character but it's been a while since any recent spiderman movie has gone without another spider character, it's always peter parker and whatever random happens to be in NYC at the moment, but pun wasn't bad. Now the star of the show, Jean Grey, wonderful. Sadie really captured the character on ways past actors had failed in. She's not perfect but she holds and the jump sequence was fun to see. Wish we got more into her mind tho, but hopefully the upcoming X-Men movie handles that wonderfully. The movie mix that classic comedy and life of being a superhero, with some deeper feelings, like Peter dealing with the consequences of everyone forgetting who he is, such as MJ and Ned, but also, I felt so much growth for him, especially when he told Jean, "I'll be there for you," such growth from a once highschool trying to save the city and hide from Aunt May. So in conclusion, wonderful movie! Villian/anti hero is a good pace, storyline seems decent and all in all a classic spiderman flix!
