Okay, this was my 20th time watching Piku and somehow this movie still hits me. 🥹🤍 I think I connect with Piku so much because her relationship with her dad reminds me of mine. The random arguments, getting annoyed at each other, complaining about the smallest things, and then secretly worrying about each other five minutes later. 😂❤️ It’s not a perfect relationship, but it’s ours. And I absolutely love Piku and Rana’s relationship too. It feels so natural. There’s no unnecessary drama or instant “I’m madly in love with you” nonsense. They just slowly understand each other. Rana gives Piku space, listens to her, accepts all her chaos, and somehow becomes this safe person for her. That’s probably what I love most about Piku. It’s not really just a love story. It’s about love in all its messy forms between a daughter and her father, between two people slowly falling for each other, and even the little things we do for people without realizing how much they mean. I’ve watched this movie 20 times, and I know I’ll probably watch it again. 😭 Some movies you watch because they’re good. Some you keep watching because they feel like home. Piku is definitely the second one for me. 🤍
