Most brain-explosion album I've ever heard. If BURST POP ISLAND made me love Wienners, then this album made me aware of the long, long musical identity journey they made... because it sounds most traditionally punk!! Punk-inspired, as in: the "Wienners sound identity" is only born after BEST NEW RETAKES and cemented in BURST POP ISLAND, so the band has to stick to very western-inspired punk structures in some tracks, and experiment with their signature microtonals in others. My favourite song out of this one is definitely Idol. (The second fav is We Are The World). This one sounds most "traditionally Wienners" in structure, Asamisae's vocal style, and... it even has a Plus-Tech Squeeze Box reference!!! The retake of Idol levels the mastering and makes it close in sounding to BURST POP era, but they're different in what they put forefront, in my opinion. Funny how Tamaya2060% wrote Idol as a critique of idol culture because he used to produce music for various girl groups. Maybe that experience in making peppy idol music is why I like Wienners so much...?
