I watched this with Ahia Don and Kendrick... I really enjoyed this film and really got me to think about a lot of things. [...] But... yeah, I don't really want to spend movies with him all that much after this. I actually teared up like twice during this movie. We caught the intro where you'd end up singing the national anthem and it had a montage of people and I really teared up about the veteran saluting to a kid. It reminded me of when I used to watch movies with papa and we sometimes caught it early enough to catch the anthem. I love seeing more of Eowyn and of Faramir. I also end up understanding a lot more of what I remember seeing glimpses of on TV. I left the cinema feeling fulfilled but also empty... It's done. It's gone. I finally finished watching the trilogy. What's next? It's done. I know I still have the Hobbit trilogy and the books. But yeah, still... Bittersweet.
