ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤ✎ . . . ❛ 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘴𝘮𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘳.ᐣ ❟ ㅤㅤ٠࣪⭑ there's so much to be said about this short film. while only 4 minutes long, the contents of those 4 minutes have given me weeks of thinking material at Least, this is definitely going to stay with me for a while. ㅤㅤㅤ while it's not something i particularly look for in animated media, i adored the voice acting. it felt so real and candidly human. i believe it was done by the animator too which is wild to me, it sounded completely professional. i was also, for lack of a better word, surprised at how much emotion the animated mouth was able to give in cadence with the expressive voice acting. and the eye too, like how did they make a singular eyeball look sad and desperate??? the incredibly drawn hands and gestures probably helped a lot, but it was still impressive. ㅤㅤㅤ without directly spoiling any of the story, it was simple and brutal but man... even having guesses as to where it was going to go i still found myself clutching my metaphorical pearls. it hurt watching the scene where you can see eye reaching for exactly what they knew they needed but not being physically able to ask for it ❤️‍🩹
