what an incredible find ! yeah, ik, i've been gone for so long.. but i've been watching a ton of movies while not posting anything here. and this one c'est un des meilleurs exemples. at first glance, it's just another one of those tedious, confusing bunuel films. i stumbled upon it completely par hasard, because right now i'm putting together a letterboxd top list about hypersexuality. and this film je vais l'inclure, for sure. but what draws me in the most isn't even that theme, c'est le surréalisme and the insane number of ways you can interpret the ending and the whole film in general. highly recommend it to everyone !! 🌟
