ㅤㅤ٠࣪⭑ i recently saw a trailer for hisko hulsing's upcoming film danse macabre and was so utterly gobsmacked by it that i instantly went in search of his previous works. i have been really loving animations that utilize oil painting and this was visually stunning from start to finish, the colors were so warm in contrast to the cold and poignant story being told. as spoiler free as possible, i loved the portrayal of shock near the end, that part in particular was animated so well it made me start feeling uneasy myself.
