A beautiful and extraordinary commentary on racism. While the movie did take a extremist route, it does make for a great horror flick. Truly, I was continuously shocked and spooked by the uncanny nature of the movie, all without the need for cheap jump scares. The sub plot mixed in a bit of comedy, especially since the actor being the character Rod (Lil Rel Howery) is especially known for his comedy rolls and skills. The movie felt very good, scary, well paced and leave us, the viewers thinking and discussing the matter of racism more.
