the view was amazing & the canyon is massive. on the way there i saw elk which was cool but later i even saw bighorn sheep and lots of ravens circling the area. very pretty, but also very scary to stand near the edge 😬 overall a great experience and i ❤️ nature 😊 i went to the south rim, near the geology center (go in there, the view is great, there's some scientific explanation stuff, and a little gift shop area). then you can walk up the path to take pictures at different points (lots of beautiful trees and bushes btw i thought it was rly going to be like a dry desert but the path to the canyon was a little green with decent shrubbery and the weather was pretty cool and shady which was great), then once you get to mather point, you can take some more pics and then head over to the main larger gift shop store. after browsing take the shuttle 🚌 back to the geology museum if you get tired of walking!
