i genuinely cannot comprehend how good this cdrama is. let’s start with the visuals and cinematography every episode, especially in the beginning, looks like it came straight out of a fairytale book. the characters didn’t disappoint either. the marquis’ visuals wow. i literally couldn’t take my eyes off him. he’s so ethereal that changyu is a perfect match for him. i also love how the female characters are strong and independent. we love badass women!! for the plot, to be honest, i’m not the biggest fan of political dramas especially historical politics. it was a bit hard for me to keep up with the system, and the conflicts made it more challenging to fully understand everything. i really tried my best to follow each scene 😭 but the romance? so, so good. one thing i love about historical dramas is how they portray love it feels deeper, more restrained, and just different. i really hope i can find more dramas like this
