this is the series ive been really into lately. i love shows that are long and completes the story, instead of movies that tend to skip on details and feel rushed. im wondering if i should try out the book of it too, but maybe once ive forgotten the story of the show. i started on it this may, and now im on season 5! its so addicting i got to season 5 in a month... love the plot, would recommend if you like long paced stories. the thing about vampire diaries is they dont stretch out one plot that ends up being simple and, like you know... something they couldve ended at an earlier time. no! every episode is interesting, theres always a sprinkle of something new and shocking you wouldn't even expect it. like how i thought elena was the only doppelganger that exists in their world, but turns out stefan is one too! and stefan is not the first doppelganger. theres more, and im really excited to meet them. theres lots of plot twists... id wonder how many tricks the show has up its sleeves... like 8 seasons, and not a single boring episode/arc?? the scenes are always thrilling! looking away once or losing focus for a moment is enough for me to get lost on the plot of the episode... woops, that ended up so long. i have so much mkre to say about this show
