the MR2 began as a design experiment in 1979 by akio yoshida. he was trying to build a car that got great gas mileage and was fun to drive. he brought his idea to Toyota and at first they thought he had lost his fucking mind , they eventually started working on the car. to no ones surprise the car was a success. with a 4AGE engine that sat in the back of the car , making the car aerodynamic and easy to drive. the car was like something out of a sci-fi movie. the MR2 was japans first mid engine car. the MR2 was something new and fresh , giving Toyota serious cred and stealing the hearts of many car lovers. in my humble opinion Toyota is one of the best car brands and the MR2 is one of the most reliable sports cars. the MR2 will make a perfect first project car and you will ultimately be the baddest bitch in the highschool parking lot. 😎
