i didn’t expect things to turn out better than i imagined. i had planned a solo date that day — to go on the moa cruise by the bay and visit the rose garden. i love how my day turned out. riding the boat, feeling the cold ocean breeze, and smelling the sea salt made me feel so at peace. it reminded me of the times we spent on vacation, riding a ship to our province. i also met two people who were on their own solo dates. they were so fun to be with. the three of us just clicked and enjoyed our time together, even though it was short. it felt nice meeting new people and discovering new things about myself. since my birthday is near, i’m considering this my little pre-celebration for myself. advance happy birthday, self! 🤍
