Such an interesting look to delve into the world behind the curtain of kabuki, aka the backstage of Kabukiza Theater. It’s a super short doc and the content-wise is genuinely fascinating (that’s why I wanted to watch it). But I wish the filmmaker made it more engaging, because kabuki is one of Japan’s most popular and cool art forms and it deserves a doc that keeps you hooked.
