What a hot mess. Okay, before I start shitting on a children movie that I've out grown, let me give out it's props. The movie is very stunning...VERY! I think it's the most expensive Disney channel movie out there and it definitely reflects. The sets, the clothes, and audio quality, Everytime with just top tire and a overall improvement to the whole franchise as a whole. Sadly, that's the only good thing, so onto the bad. The songs, I'm sorry but descendants songs been on a decline since D2. The singers are truly carrying the songs because just the overall mix of them are so ass 😭 I think only two good songs came from this movie. Secondly, the whole plot is whack. The movie is trying to pretend as if Red is a good person when she's not. She ruined Maddox and Max life and didn't even pay the price for it, which, lore wise....why didn't she look out for Maddox after she boasted her life, just selfish. The whole conflict with Chole and Pink just gets by pass with a song or a two word exchange, so the conflicts feel very one noted. There was legit no lesson learned. They just song and move on with nothing resolve. Honestly, wrapped this franchise up, I won't be watching the next installment because it needed to end with descendants three. The actors did their best with the script and the visual are stunning, other than that it's flat. It's better than the last but at this movie, nothing is worst than D4
