As a NBSB myself, this taught me that I shouldn't rush it and I should wait for a person who wants to understand me. However, If I ever meet a person that my heart cannot help but like, I should actively pursue them instead of waiting around for nothing. Chasing a person without putting in the effort will only lead to regrets—of course, there are some that may successfully get with the one they yearn for, but if you really want someone, you must pursue them. Its not easy, of course. Even I couldn't talk to my year-long crush properly 😭but now its lead to "what-ifs" and thats even harder to move on from than rejection.
