my first time reading steampunk. the genre itself is unique but how Priest built the world is making this book even more engaging. the first part is kinda weird because it's my first time reading those trope but i was invested in later part. i think their dynamic is kinda cute with a bit of spice here and there. i love that the characters went through this emotional turmoil throughout the story. BUT i was a bit struggling understanding the politic (manage to catch the big picture tho), kinda interesting when i finished the book... :) i have a new point of view. this is a decent book to read, recommended🙂‍↕️
