TIL: yoo youngkuk, pioneer of korean abstract art Went to art school, came back to his hometown, became a ' fisherman, got kids to support so he built his own liquor ! distillery then at the age of 40 he was like & ok now i ne to paint again #fortheloveofthegame So he started & aft networking around the group art circle for a while, he retracted socially So by then he worked alone wo assistantsd maintained very strict scedule, would paint from 9am-6pm, received ish idk i forgot) major surgeries, and 37x hospitalized (i = also i forgot lmao point is he got sick like a lot At the age of 48 he held his first ever solo exhibition Girl if this is not passion, dedication n sheer craziness idk what else is!!!!
