i've never felt so understood by a book before... this book was everything i didn't know i needed-warm, sad, and full of emotions that hit me right in the heart. honestly, i was skeptical about a sequel because the first book felt complete, but this one completely changed my mind. it made me laugh, cry (mostly cry), and reminded me just how important family is. takako's struggles were so relatable, and i ended up highlighting so many quotes. and don't even get me started on momoko's letter—i was a wreck. if you've read the first book, read this one ASAP. it's even better and will absolutely ruin you (in the best way possible).
