I only knew Jake Gyllenhaal from Spiderman as Mysterio but after watching this movie my perspective of him changed a lot. The story was so complicating it took me a while to understand it even after the movie ended, but I think that’s the reason why it made the movie so special and interesting. Btw I wondered why Jake always played mentally ill characters or sad characters but after I recently watched him playing a romance movie character I found out why lol. It’s not that he doesn’t fit in romance movies or any other genre(cause he’s a great actor), but I’d rather see him play miserable and unhinged characters rather than happy and normal ones I guess🤔.
