I watched it in pieces, and at first, it didn’t fully grab me. the early part gave context of how Harry, Marion, Tyrone, and Sara’s lives slid into addiction. i knew addiction would have a cost, but i didn’t foresee the exact shape of that loss. what struck me most was the end, how each character, after justifying their descent, ends up in ruin. the final image of each of them sleeping in their own broken reality stayed with me. it’s a film that starts slow but leaves a deep, unsettling echo.
