"I JUST MADE SOME BULLSHITTT" For some reason, that meme pops up in my head every time I think of this show. And, it's genuinely NOT bad. The quote, it just sticks for me (don't mind, just ranting). Now, onto the commentary. OKAY, well, I felt like the pacing was super slow or super fast at times. Sometimes Nana would take one episode to solve a case and other times she would take two to three. Kinda fifty-fifty, but I can see the author put in some effort in writing the cases. At least that much is true. I'm suprised there isn't any main romantic interests. I like that, in my opinion too many shows focus on that despite not being the main genre. Anyway, that doesn't stop whatever chemistry Nana and Michiru were having. Pure yuri. Gotta love it jaja. I saw this show recommended as something similar to The Apothecary Diaries. Not exactly how I thought it would be, I'd say it lacks better problem-solving. Maomao has way better explanations behind her thought process than Nana. So it just felt pretty bland to me how this show portrayed a "smart" character. Feels like I watched a middle schoolers depiction of an intelligent detective. Even so, I still liked the different ways each student was dealt with. They were all given different outcomes and that makes it harder to predict as the viewer which in turn causes you to put more attention. Very nice on that end. And last but not least, favorite character? Kyuoya!
