i’ve been avoiding this movie for 6 years and finally ended up watching it because someone asked me to watch it with them. tbh, i tend to avoid movies that i know are going to make me cry because i absolutely hate crying. so naturally, i put this one off for years. but yes, i watched it. yes, i cried like a baby. yes, i sat there staring at the screen questioning why i willingly did this to myself. this movie is so good tho 💯 it’s beautiful, heartbreaking, and somehow manages to make you smile and cry at the same time. i went in expecting to be sad, but i wasn’t expecting it to hit me this hard. genuinely one of those movies that leaves a lump in your throat long after the credits roll.
