A very cute movie, but it left me wanting a bit more. It has a really nice premise, but the biggest issue for me is the pacing: everything happens way too fast. The plot is supposed to take place over a month in real life, but here, everything feels rushed. Because of this, I feel like a lot of things are missing, especially in how the love story between Pia and Charlie is built. We don't really get to see their connection deepen naturally. It's the same issue for Pia's character arc: some of her personal struggles aren't truly explored or dealt with throughout the film. Instead, as if by magic, everything is perfectly fine at the end, and everyone is happy, even though nothing was actually resolved in a realistic way. It's still a pleasant, sweet rom-com to watch to pass the time, but the script lacked a bit of depth.
